US WWII M2 507th Paratrooper Airborne NCO Helmet and Liner with removable chin-cup (D-bale)
Original US WWII M-2 helmet shell and liner. Both pieces have been restored to M-2 airborne helmet specifications with high quality reproduction M-2 helmet accessories. This M-2 paratrooper helmet comes complete with removable liner strap, Grade I liner, hand painted 507th Emblem, sergeants stripes, NCO bar and all the accessories pictured.
It will include:
US WWII M-2 helmet shell (front seam) & US M-2 paratrooper airborne helmet liner (with frontal eyelet hole)
The M-2 helmet has been totally restored (no dents or cracks). It has new exterior paint, cork textured, & D bale chinstrap loops. It has sewn airborne chinstraps with snaps (with early buckle and J hook) and removable liner strap.
The M-2 liner provided with this helmet is Grade I. It has been totally restored with new exterior paint (high gloss), new OD #3 HBT cloth suspension (which includes): upper suspension, lace cord, backstrap, two-piece nape strap, internal airborne snaps and OD #3 A straps with brass wire buckles (factory installed). It also includes sweatband, six "teethed" brass headband spring clips, removable leather liner strap, a leather chincup (with chamois lining) and hand painted 507th emblem, sergeants stripes and NCO bar.
