Hi and welcome to Top Pots! My name is Nick – founder and owner. If you’re an M-1 helmet enthusiast, WWII re-enactor, or just an avid militaria collector then you and I are cut from the same cloth!  

Restoring US WWII helmets to their former glory and producing quality reproduction US WWII uniforms are passions of mine that quickly turned into a business when I was living in  Utah back in 2000 . Initially, my helmet restoration venture started as a “hobby”, but through word of mouth and an ever growing repeat customer base, Top Pots has grown to a point of no return and beyond my wildest dreams – and for that I have to thank you, my customers and friends, who have demonstrated your support of a quality product.  

Since that time, I have personally restored thousands of US M-1 helmets and liners and have handled tens of thousands more. Top Pots has delivered restored US WWII headgear for individuals, re-enactment groups, museums, motion pictures, large private collections, international dealers and (most recently) the video gaming industry. (This last venture got me hooked on the XBOX 360!  If there are any gamers out there, send me your gamer tag and we can play a match!).

In 2004, my wife and I re-located to New South Wales , Australia to take advantage of a business opportunity.  (The fact that I had already established a strong business network in the region made the move all the  more tempting).  This move resulted in Top Pots growing to a new level that I had not dared attempt while in the US.  By entering the region at such an advantageous time,  I was able to expand my operations into a new industrial factory bay and "throw my hat in the ring" in the uniform market.  It has been a slow ardous process, but plans have been laid to expand into both uniforms and fieldgear in the coming years.   These are two areas that I am extremely excited about!
 
Please don't misunderstand my position, I am still a "one man band" (I do all the helmet restoration work myself and what I don't work on personally I micro-manage to death).   I am passionate about delivering a meticulous level of detail.  Every helmet order is ensured to be completed with the highest standard of quality by me personally.  I also pride myself in providing my customers with a consistently high standard of service, which I deliver through straight talk and personal availability!  (The buck starts and stops with me).
