US WWII M2 Early War 506th Colonel Paratrooper Helmet & Liner (Welded Rank & Unit Emblem)
Original US WWII M1 helmet shell and liner. Both pieces have been restored to M2 paratrooper helmet specifications with high quality reproduction M-1 helmet accessories. This M2 paratrooper helmet comes complete with hand painted 506th unit emblem, welded Colonel's officer rank & leadership bar and all the accessories pictured.

It will include:
One US WWII M-1 helmet shell (front seam) & M-1 Paratrooper helmet liner (with frontal eyelet hole)
The M-1 helmet has been totally restored (no dents or cracks). It has new exterior paint, cork textured, & M2 chinstrap loops. It has sewn airborne chinstraps with snaps (with early buckle and J hook) and hand-paintedunit emblem and welded officers rank (506th emblem, metallic officer rank and leadership strip).
The M-1 liner provided is Grade I. It has been totally restored with new exterior paint (high gloss), new OD #3 HBT cloth suspension (which includes): upper suspension, lace cord, backstrap, two-piece nape strap, internal airborne snaps and OD #3 A straps with brass wire buckles (factory installed). It also includes sweatband, six "teethed" brass headband spring clips, leather liner strap (with original early war non-removable liner chin-strap), leather chincup (with chamois lining).
